Group Tour Agreement and Waiver
Deposits:
Reservations will become firm upon receipt of a non-refundable (but transferable) $600.00 deposit paid by cashier’s check, cash, Venmo or credit card.
Payment:
Final payment is due in full 90 days prior to departure date. Payment may be sent to the address below we recommend certified mail or trackable mail if you are mailing your payment.
Refunds:
In the event that To Amalfi with Love Tours LLC (the “Company”) cancels a trip, clients will receive a full refund of all deposits and payments.
The Company does not give refunds of payments except as outlined below.
Cancellation Policy:
In the event the client must cancel the trip for any reason, the cancellation will become effective upon receipt of written notice of cancellation. The refund will be made per the following schedule prior to the departure date:
Up to 31 days prior to the day of departure: One-half of the trip cost will be refunded*
30 days or fewer prior to departure: No refund can be made
When the tour commences or during the tour: No refund can be made
*Refund will exclude any non-refundable hotel, ground transportation, guide, or excursion fees.
The Company strongly encourages trip insurance to cover any unforeseen events that would force a client to cancel the trip, incur additional expenses for medical treatment or quarantine or to rebook flights. It can be purchased online or through a travel agency. Check details for specific coverage relative to personal situation.
The Company reserves the right to cancel a tour if: the number of reservations is not large enough to operate without a loss; a weather event or act of God prevents travel; or a government-mandated travel restriction is put in place. If the Company cancels a tour, the client’s payment will be refunded, or the tour will be rescheduled.
Tour Changes:
Tour prices are set, and details are paid for in advance. Clients have the flexibility to skip any part of the planned tour or alter their travel schedule (miss entire days) but do so at their expense, the Company will not exchange or refund portions of the trip.
The Company makes every effort to operate each tour as planned. If circumstances force them to change an advertised venue, they will replace it with one of equal or better quality. They reserve the right to make changes as needed depending on weather, vendor availability, strikes, etc.
Flight Arrangements and Package Costs:
Package costs include: centrally located 4-star rated hotels (double room occupancy), all ground and sea transportation for excursions, entrance tickets to museums and special events (cooking classes, wine tastings, music festivals, etc.), official guides, daily breakfast, daily authentically Italian meals with wine where indicated on the itinerary.
The following items are not included in package costs: airfare, single room supplemental fees, optional travel insurance
Tour packages are priced for groups composed of 10-15 participants. Smaller groups may incur increased fees.
Flights are not included in the tour package.

Passports and Visas:
It is the Guest’s sole responsibility to obtain and have available when necessary the appropriate valid travel documents. All Guests are advised to check with the appropriate government authority to determine the necessary documents required for their travel. A valid passport is required for U.S. and Canadian citizens traveling to all international destinations. Passports must be valid for six (6) months after completion of the Journey and should also have sufficient blank visa pages for entry and exit stamps.
Traveler Identification and Proof of Citizenship:
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires all airline passengers to provide Secure Flight Passenger Data (SFPD): Full name as it appears on Government-Issued I.D., Date of Birth, Gender, Redress number (if available).
The name of the traveler on all reservations and travel documents must match the name as it appears on the traveler’s Government-Issued I.D. The traveler is responsible for any fees and expenses that may be incurred due to an incorrect name or the denial of travel resulting from incorrect information.
Updated information regarding security measures and requirements for air travel are available at www.tsa.gov. It is highly recommended that travelers check this website prior to travel to their scheduled destination. All U.S. citizens traveling to or from Italy must have a valid passport which must be valid for a minimum of six months beyond the return travel date. It is the traveler’s responsibility to verify current entry requirements and obtain the necessary travel documentation based on the country of origin. Minors of 17 and under traveling alone or with a single parent may be required to have additional documentation on domestic or international flights. No refund will be issued for losses incurred as a result of failure to obtain or provide required travel documentation.
Special Needs:
The Client agrees to notify Company upon booking, of any physical challenges or special needs that may require accommodation or support arrangements on the tour. The Company will make its best effort to accommodate clients with special needs, but if such accommodations cannot reasonably be made, Company will refund the Client’s deposit/payment.
Liability and Responsibility:
As a client and traveler with the Company, I understand the following:
The Company provides a service in arranging accommodations, transportation, sightseeing, admissions, and any other services from third parties as agreed in each itinerary. The Company shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity which may be occasioned by any company or person engaged in conveying the passengers, providing the services, or otherwise in connection therewith, of any hotel owner, manager, or employee. The Company does not own or operate, nor are they an agent of any of the Suppliers which will provide goods and services for the trip or any option which may be available in connection with the trip. I agree to seek remedies directly with the Supplier and not hold the Company liable in the event of negligence, loss, injury, delay, or expense which results directly or indirectly from any action or omission, whether negligent, criminal or otherwise, of any entity providing goods and services for the trip or any available option.
I agree not to hold the Company liable for circumstances beyond their control (e.g. Force Majeure, terrorism, war, or acts of God). The Company accepts no responsibility for losses or extra cost due to delays, schedule changes, or cancellations in train, bus, ship, airlines or other land, lake or river services, medical issues, bad weather/climate conditions, war, terrorist acts, strikes, quarantine, luggage delay or loss, or other causes.
I agree to release the Company, its agents and employees from all claims arising out of such events, acts or omissions.
I understand that the Company has offered these tours and itineraries based on fares and prices at the time of offering, and grant the Company the right to change, add or withdraw any tour announced in its publications or group proposals and to make alterations in the itineraries and program costs as may be found necessary due to change in transportation costs, exchange rates, lack of participation or program costs. All fares are based on present value of local and foreign currencies and in current tariffs and are subject to confirmation and/or adjustment when payment for the tour is made.
I understand that such changes in the program, including increases in program prices, are not grounds for withdrawal with full refund, except as noted in the stated cancellation policy.
The Company is not responsible for my or any group member’s well-being.
Statements made by participants or photographs taken of participants while on tour may be used by the Company in future publicity materials or promotional publications.
I understand that the Company, its agents and employees are not responsible for any financial liability or obligation which I may incur, or injury or damage to the person or property of others which I may cause or contribute to while on a Company tour.
Arbitration:
Any dispute concerning, relating, or referring to these Terms and Conditions, your travel arrangement or any claim for damages due to injury or death which occurs during or in connection with your travel arrangement shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration. The arbitration shall be administered by the State of Connecticut and held in accordance with the State of Connecticut’s rules, regulations, and requirements. Any arbitral award determination shall be final and binding upon the Parties. Judgment on the arbitrator’s award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Each Party shall pay its own costs and fees. Claims necessitating arbitration under this section include but are not limited to, contract claims, tort claims, and claims based on federal and state law, rules, and regulations. The arbitration shall proceed only on an individual basis. The Parties waive all rights to have their disputes heard or decided by a jury or in a court trial and the right to pursue any class or collective claims against each other in court, arbitration, or any other proceeding unless expressly permitted herein.
Each party shall only submit its own individual claims against the other and will not seek to represent the interests of any other person. The arbitrator shall have no jurisdiction or authority to compel any class or collective claim or to consolidate different arbitration proceedings with or join any other party to arbitration between the Parties. Intellectual property claims will not be subject to arbitration and may, as an exception to this sub-part, be litigated. Changes to Terms and Conditions We reserve the right to update the Terms and Conditions periodically without notice. You acknowledge that you agree to the Terms and Conditions then current at the time of your booking.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. In the event that any provision in this Agreement shall be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby and such provisions shall be ineffective only to the extent of such invalidity, illegality or unenforceability.
