We are Isidoro and Monica, an Italian and an American husband-and-wife team designing and managing bespoke travel throughout Italy.
Living between the United States and Italy, with a home in Umbria, our work is rooted in a life spent deeply connected to the country. We are continually exploring, refining, and strengthening the experiences we offer, ensuring that each journey reflects not only Italy’s beauty, but how it is best experienced.
A Different Approach to Travel in Italy.
We do not operate as a traditional travel agency.
Every journey we design is created directly with our trusted partners across Italy, from licensed guides and private drivers to hoteliers, chefs, and local experts. These are long-standing relationships built over years of living and working in the country.
This allows us to offer a level of continuity, access, and care that is difficult to achieve through third-party providers or pre-packaged itineraries.
Our Expertise.
Isidoro’s work is rooted in a deep understanding of Italy’s history, culture, and regional nuance. Born in Sardegna and raised in the Naples region, he has spent his life in Italy and brings both lived experience and formal training to his work. As a licensed Italian tour guide with a degree in Cultural Heritage from Università degli Studi Suor Orsola Benincasa in Naples, he offers a depth of knowledge that shapes each journey in a meaningful way.
He is also responsible for the relationships that underpin our work throughout Italy. With a deep understanding of the people behind each service, he identifies and works directly with the professionals who support our clients’ journeys, ensuring a level of quality, trust, and continuity that is not easily achieved independently.
Monica’s background brings a different, but equally important dimension to each journey. With experience in corporate and clinical law, including nearly a decade supporting the Community and Economic Development and Housing clinics at Yale Law School, she approaches each itinerary with structure, precision, and a deep understanding of how each element must come together seamlessly.
Her work is also shaped by over two decades as a certified yoga instructor and former studio owner, along with a longstanding creative practice in photography and visual storytelling. These experiences bring an intuitive dimension to travel design, shaping not only what clients see, but how they experience each place.
Together, their combined backgrounds allow for a thoughtful balance of expertise and intuition, creating journeys that are both deeply immersive and exceptionally well managed.
How We Work.
We design each journey from the ground up, based on our clients’ interests, pace, and priorities.
From selecting the right accommodations to coordinating private experiences, transportation, and daily flow, every detail is carefully considered. We remain involved throughout the entire process, providing guidance, coordination, and on-the-ground support during travel to ensure everything unfolds as intended.
This continuity is central to our work and to the experience our clients have in Italy.
